Thecamp was rocked when Matt Hancock and comedian Seann Walsh were this year’s late arrivals. Since his debut, the MP has commanded the screen after being voted by the public to do Bushtucker Trials. However, according to a former campmate, the rest of the stars are annoyed with the amount of airtime Matt is getting
Since arriving at camp last Wednesday, Matt Hancock has faced his fair share of Bushtucker Trials as he’s eaten cockroaches, swam with a crocodile and had slime dumped all over him.

As he’s been tackling the challenges to win food for camp, along with winning a task to become camp leader, Matt has been dominating the screen since his arrival.
Although his fellow campmates have had mixed reviews about him entering the jungle, a former I’m A Celebrity star has revealed it seems they’re unhappy with the amount of airtime he’s getting.
Calling it “The Matt Hancock show” Jake Quickenden believes there’s been a shift in the camp as signs of annoyance are starting to show.

The ex-campmate shared week two in the show is where it starts to become harder for everyone due to the mixture of lack of food, sleep and missing people starting to kick in.
Jake said in his Mirror Online column that cracks are beginning to show with the current I’m A Celeb line-up due to them not all being united.

Stating the MP has done a good job at getting stars for the camp so far, he’s glad the public has started to vote for other people.
Jake commented: “I think the campmates will be getting annoyed about the fact Mr Hancock is getting all the airtime.

“You see some little digs when he’s voted, and some people are seeming to pretend they are happy they haven’t been voted for it.
“But it can get so boring at times that you can be begging for a trial just so you can have a change of scenery.”
Jake highlighted there may be some conflict arising over the next few days with potential arguments with Boy George.
The 80s pop icon has made it clear to both the viewers and his campmates that he doesn’t like to be told what to do.

Within the first few days, there was a slight tension when it came to Loose Women’s Charlene White taking control in the kitchen, and made it known he didn’t approve.
Speaking to Scarlette Douglas about the situation, he said: “She tells you what to do and it really rubs you up the wrong way.”
Although that issue seems to be settled, Boy George is struggling to accept Matt’s presence after his mum was hospitalised during the pandemic.
He confessed to Scarlette that if something had happened to his mum during that time then he wouldn’t have stayed in the jungle.
His disapproval of Matt was amped up when he became camp leader after losing a challenge to Mike Tindall.
When he discovered the MP would be in control of delegating the jobs around camp, he stated Matt wouldn’t be leading him.
He later chanted a song to Sue Cleaver with a line that included: “I’ll never bow to a bl**dy Tory.”
I’m A Celebrity airs weekdays on ITV from 9pm
